The mission of the Rhode Island Coalition for
Affirmative Action is to support and protect Affirmative Action.
The long-term goal of RICAA is to eliminate
racism, hatred, bigotry, and discrimination. The short-term
goal is to prevent unfair treatment and to foster economic equity
for all women, minorities, and protected classes.
RICAA is committed to:
- Support Affirmative Action as a corrective
remedy
- Advocate for social justice and equal rights
- Promote an environment that represents the
population
- Provide education and training to promote
equity
